Adam Selipsky named as new member of Board of Directors
Adam Selipsky, a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in internet platform infrastructure and technology, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL). Selipsky's career has been marked by impressive achievements. He held senior roles at Amazon, RealNetworks, and Mercer before serving as the CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business to over $100 billion in revenue. Under his leadership, AWS became a leading cloud services platform.
Before AWS, Selipsky was the President and CEO of Tableau Software. During his tenure, he successfully led the company through its acquisition by Salesforce, positioning Tableau as a premier analytics and business intelligence tool.
Selipsky's expertise extends beyond the financial realm. He served on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board while CEO of Amazon Web Services, highlighting his influence in technology and security.
