Adidas is set to launch two iconic sneakers, created in partnership with Oasis, that are destined to become eternal classics.
The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, known for their iconic roles in the British band Oasis, are set to release new Adidas sneakers as part of their reunion commemoration. The new shoes, scheduled for release in Europe and the UK on August 16, 2025, and in the US around September 1, 2025, include Noel Gallagher's Marathon SPZL and Liam Gallagher's Achille SPZL, each priced around $130-$150.
Liam Gallagher has revitalized the Adidas Achille, an archival runner, for his new shoe. The design features khaki mesh and suede, with rich brown stripes and a beige sole. On the other hand, Noel Gallagher's sneaker is a navy take on the Adidas Marathon silhouette. This marks a new addition to Noel's Adidas collaborations.
Both shoes feature the Gallagher brothers' faces on the tongues and come with Spezial branding, reflecting the real Adidas enthusiasts' ethos that the SPZL label is known for. The SPZL label, which specializes in reviving little-known silhouettes from the Adi archives and injecting vintage flavor into modern models, is not involved in the creation of these new shoes.
In the past, both Liam and Noel Gallagher have dropped signature shoes with Adidas under the SPZL label. Liam Gallagher dropped his own signature model, the LG SPZL, a couple of years later in 2019. Liam Gallagher also dropped two further entries in the LG SPZL line in 2022 and 2023.
Noel Gallagher's first Spezial collaboration was a spin on the Adidas Garwen in navy blue pebbled leather. The Handball Spezial silhouette, a separate model from the SPZL label, is not involved in these new collaborations.
The Oasis reunion, announced almost exactly a year ago, has marked their return to rock's main stage with these two new Adidas colorways. The Gallaghers have been some of the most visible ambassadors of Adidas, adding a unique flavour to the brand's collaborations.
The new sneakers will be available through adidas.com and select retailers.
