Aerfal Automotive Revives Porsche 904 with AE94 Hypercar
Aerfal Automotive is set to revive a classic with its AE94 project, a modern take on the Porsche 904. The hypercar, designed by Zagato, will be a lightweight, analog delight for selected VIP clients, with only 19 units planned for production starting mid-2026.
The AE94 will be built on a Porsche 914 chassis, a nod to the original 904's racing heritage. It will feature an eight-cylinder boxer engine, developed with Cosworth, echoing the highest version of the original. High-quality components from Brembo, Michelin, and BBS will ensure top performance in the braking, tire, and wheel departments respectively.
The car's body design will stay true to the original 904, with modern touches like LED lights. Inside, drivers can expect a retro-futuristic blend of leather, titanium, a Momo steering wheel sans airbag, analog instruments, and crank-operated side windows. The suspension will be adapted and reinforced by Multimac, with later tuning by Tutthill. The project is currently in the virtual planning stage, with no start date announced yet.
The AE94 project promises a thrilling blend of old and new, with a focus on analog driving experience. It will be unveiled at the Zoute Grand Prix event in Belgium on October 10, 2025, by Capricorn company, before production begins for the select few.
