Airwallex Expands in EU, Adds Nordic Currencies
Airwallex has rolled out Nordic currency support for its customers in the EU, announced in February 2021. This move caters to strong demand from European customers and signals Airwallex's interest in expanding across Europe.
Airwallex customers in the EU can now transact directly in Danish Krone (DKK), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Swedish Krona (SEK), and Polish Zloty (PLN). This eliminates the need for currency exchange, reducing costs and simplifying transactions.
Or Liban, Vice President, Benelux & Middle East at Airwallex, highlighted the significance of this launch. He noted that enabling Nordic currencies addresses a common request from European customers and removes operational hurdles for businesses in the region.
Airwallex's introduction of Nordic currencies in February 2021 benefits EU-based customers by streamlining transactions and reducing costs. The company aims to serve the Nordic market and expand its presence across Europe.
