Amcor's Sava Flip Top Closure Boosts Kotlin Ketchup's Sustainability

Amcor, a global leader in packaging, has introduced its Sava Flip Top closure, which is now being used by Kotlin for its ketchup range. The closure, part of Amcor's B Circular Range, is designed with sustainability in mind and offers versatility, convenience, and full recyclability.

Bartosz Głodowski, Amcor's regional sales leader in Poland, praised the closure's versatility, stating it's ideal for various ketchups and sauces. Kotlin, a brand owned by Maspex, has adopted this closure for its ketchup range, aiming to reduce material usage, improve dispensing, and ensure full recyclability. The choice was influenced by Maspex buyer Sylwia Bębenek, who appreciated the closure's lighter weight without compromising performance.

The Sava Flip Top closure, produced by Sava GmbH, is a 55 mm cap with a 38/400 neck finish, made from polypropylene. It offers no-spill and non-drip dispensing, making it easy to use. It can be recycled at the end of its life, contributing to Amcor's circular economy goals. The closure is also customizable, with Kotlin offering green, red, and blue variants for its 450g, 650g, and 950g ketchup sizes.

Amcor's Sava Flip Top closure, used by Kotlin for its ketchup range, demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability. The closure's versatility, convenience, and full recyclability make it an ideal choice for brand owners seeking to meet their sustainability goals. With its lighter weight and durable design, the closure offers significant material savings without compromising performance.
