Anticipate Starfield's DLC: Bethesda reveals planned modifications and enhancements for space exploration journey
In a recent announcement, Tim Lamb, producer at Bethesda Game Studios, discussed upcoming updates for the highly anticipated science-fiction role-playing game, Starfield. The updates will include free features, a DLC story that players have been eagerly awaiting, and more.
The DLC story for Starfield, which is currently under development, is called "Terran Armada". This is the most recent and likely official name teased by Bethesda for the second expansion, potentially focusing on Earth-related content. The author speculates that this DLC might tie into the game's ending, with the rumored "Starborn" title.
Lamb also mentioned that the team has been focusing on improving space gameplay to make travels more rewarding. Part of the team has been working on space gameplay to introduce new and exciting elements, hinting at potential new kinds of random encounters and new ways of interacting in space using ships.
The author hopes to see the ability to build and customize space stations in the updates, as well as the addition of underwater exploration and underwater biomes in Starfield.
Unfortunately, there have been internal delays in the development of Starfield, as indicated by the limited updates this year. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can rest assured that they will never miss out on anything coming to the service, as they can play day one Xbox games on various platforms, including Xbox consoles, PC, and through the Cloud on a wide range of devices.
In other exciting news, the Fallout TV series is returning for its second season this year. The second season is set to premiere on December 17 and will feature more adventures across and around the infamous city of New Vegas. New episodes will drop weekly.
