Anticipation Builds for Upcoming Release of Vida VX2 Scheduled for July 1
The electric scooter market is about to get a new contender as Hero MotoCorp's Vida brand is set to launch the Vida VX2 on July 1. The much-anticipated electric scooter was previously known as the Vida Z and was showcased at EICMA 2024 in Milan last year.
The Vida VX2 will be available in three variants: Lite, Plus, and Pro. One of the key features of the Vida VX2 is its removable battery packs, which come in capacities ranging from 2 kWh to 3.7 kWh. This feature is designed to offer flexibility and convenience to users.
The official launch event of the Vida VX2 will be hosted by actor Hrithik Roshan. During the event, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor reprised his role from the superhit movie "Animal" to showcase the Vida VX2 electric scooter on a phone.
The Vida VX2 was spotted at a dealership last month, uncamouflaged, in a bright yellow color. In addition to yellow, the Vida VX2 will also be available in red and deep blue shades. The electric scooter is expected to be an affordable alternative in its segment, with an expected price range of ₹74,000 to ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Vida VX2 will compete against established players in the electric scooter market such as the TVS iQube (base model), Bajaj Chetak 2903, Ather Rizta, and the Ola S1 series. With its anticipated lower price point and unique features, the Vida VX2 is poised to make a significant impact in the electric scooter market.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Vida VX2 electric scooter as we approach its official launch on July 1.
