Apparent Leak Reveals Dub Reggae-themed EP-2350 Riddim Supertone Sampler and EP-40 Mixer from Teenage Engineering EP Series

Teenage Engineering has announced the release of a new addition to their EP-133 K.O. II sampler family, the EP-2350 Riddim Supertone. The new product, themed around dub, reggae, or dancehall music, is expected to hit the market in early October 2025.

The EP-2350 Riddim Supertone comes accompanied by two accessories: a two-channel DJ mixer, the EP-40, and a microphone/effects unit, Ting FX. The EP-40 mixer features a three-band EQ for each channel, an LCD screen for level display, 3.5mm inputs and outputs, an auxiliary output, and a USB connection. The Ting FX unit, designed for dub-style vocal effects and live toasting, has three dials or buttons on its side for controlling effects from the mic itself.

Images leaked by Rock oN Company and YouTuber Koji Seto suggest the existence of the EP-2350 Riddim Supertone and EP-40 mixer. These leaked images, along with Teenage Engineering posters bearing model numbers EP-2350 and EP-40, along with the phrase "Autumn 2025", further validate the legitimacy of the new products.

The Riddim Supertone is based on the same hardware as the EP-133, with a different visual design. It arrives loaded with a curated pack of reggae-style samples split across the categories of drums, bass guitar, keys, and a vinyl record. The Riddim Supertone bears the phrase "original layering machine", while the EP-133 was badged as a "sampler composer".

An affordable sampler/mixer/mic set-up, the EP-2350 Riddim Supertone and its accessories could make for a fun and accessible entry point into dub music's studio experimentation, live mixing, and heavy use of effects. Teenage Engineering is giving away the EP-1320 Medieval for free with orders above $999 this month, making it an exciting time for music enthusiasts interested in Jamaican music.

The release date for the Riddim Supertone and its accessories is not yet confirmed. However, with more details expected to be revealed in the coming months, music lovers can look forward to exploring the world of dub, reggae, and dancehall music with the EP-2350 Riddim Supertone.
