Apple first publicly announced its Private Cloud Compute service in June, coinciding with the unveiling of numerous AI enhancements for iOS, iPadOS, and eventually, MacOS. The planned release of iOS 18.1 on October 28, accompanied by a beta version of iOS 18.2, which allows ChatGPT integration, is already available. Apple compels users to grant permission to ChatGPT before it can access any requests or interact with Siri. ChatGPT serves as a transitional AI solution until Apple can fully integrate its own AI technology, a process likely to occur around 2025.
