BDACS & IDGX Form Joint Venture for Digital Asset Services in Vietnam
BDACS, a South Korean digital asset custodian, has teamed up with IDGX, a Vietnamese digital asset investment firm, to form a joint venture in Vietnam. The venture aims to provide digital asset exchange and custody services, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure for Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) company integration.
The joint venture, set to launch within the year, will initially operate under Vietnam's regulatory sandbox program. BDACS will bring its expertise in regulatory compliance and blockchain technology from the South Korean market, while IDGX will provide local operational experience, regulatory networks, and capital resources to support the market entry.
Under the Law on Digital Technology Industry, which takes effect on January 1, 2026, state agencies will manage digital assets to ensure cybersecurity, prevent money laundering, and combat terrorist financing. The law formally defines tokenized digital assets, marking a historic milestone for Vietnam's digital technology hub aspirations.
The joint venture between BDACS and IDGX will focus on digital asset exchange and custody services, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure for DAT company integration. With BDACS' expertise and IDGX's local support, the venture is well-positioned to navigate Vietnam's evolving digital asset landscape, as defined by the new Law on Digital Technology Industry.
