Better Bedder's Unique Mattress 'Headband' Generates $1M in Sales
Better Bedder, a unique mattress 'headband' designed to keep fitted and top sheets securely in place, has gained significant traction. Despite no marketing efforts, it generated over $1 million in sales in 2020. However, its aesthetic appeal may be a drawback, as it's mainly available in white.
Founded by Judy Schott and Nita Gassen, Better Bedder improves sleep quality by preventing sheets from being kicked off during the night. The product is available in various sizes to fit different mattresses and is tight enough to keep sheets from rolling over. It also doubles as pockets to store small items like keys or glasses.
Better Bedder is made of high-quality, durable material and is available for mattresses of standard sizes. On Shark Tank, Lori Greiner invested $150,000 for 18% of the business, helping the company project $6 million in sales by mid-year. Alternatives to Better Bedder include Sweave Bedding, Beddy's, Magic Linen, Hill House Home, Sheex, and Bare Home.
Better Bedder, with its innovative design and practical features, has proven to be a successful product despite its limited color options. With Lori Greiner's investment, the company aims to reach $6 million in sales by mid-year, demonstrating its potential in the market.
