Bitget & UNICEF Partner to Revolutionize Education via Blockchain
Bitget, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with UNICEF to revolutionise education through blockchain technology. The collaboration, part of Bitget's global impact strategy, aims to empower over a million individuals worldwide by 2027.
Bitget will utilise its educational arm, Bitget Academy, to build UNICEF's first blockchain training module. The ambitious program seeks to reach 300,000 people, including young girls, parents, and teachers, across multiple countries. This initiative aligns with Bitget's Lady Forward campaign under the Blockchain4Her program, striving to make the digital space more inclusive.
In addition, Bitget has announced support for UNICEF's first global Game Jam, a 40-day virtual hackathon spanning eight countries. The event encourages young people to create original video games while learning digital and blockchain skills. This innovative project combines technology and video game development for learning, uniting technology, education, and empowerment.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen is at the helm of this transformative partnership, connecting blockchain technology with education and youth empowerment. Through these initiatives, Bitget and UNICEF aim to inspire young minds and bridge the digital divide, one block at a time.
