BYD Denza initiates pre-sales for their N9 SUV, priced at $62,100.
In the rapidly evolving world of electric vehicles, Denza continues to make waves with its latest offering, the N9. Set to hit the market in the first quarter of this year, the N9 joins Denza's current lineup of vehicles that includes the N7, Z9 sedan, Z9GT hatchback, and D9 MPV.
The N9 boasts an impressive 202 km CLTC battery range, with hybrid capabilities extending its total range to an astounding 1,302 km. This hybrid powerhouse is equipped with BYD's e3 technology and features DiSus-A, a body control system with air suspension, both released by BYD in April 2023.
The N9's performance is nothing short of impressive. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds, the N9 delivers power options up to about 950 hp. Inside, the N9 offers a spacious interior with premium materials, a 2+2+2 seating configuration, and advanced technology features.
A 17.3-inch central control screen, 13.2-inch co-pilot screen, and a 50-inch AR-HUD are just a few of the high-tech features that come standard. The N9 also includes a 26-speaker Devialet sound system and advanced safety features like DiPilot 300, multiple radars, and cameras.
When compared to its main competitors, Li Auto's Li L9 and Aito's M9, the N9 stands out with its comprehensive array of advanced technology and luxury interior features. However, it is priced slightly higher, with a range of RMB 450,000 to RMB 550,000.
The Li L9 and M9, while not as technologically advanced, are still premium offerings in their own right. The Onvo L90, priced under 300,000 CNY, is more affordable, indicating that the N9, Li L9, and M9 are positioned at a higher price point.
As Denza gears up for the launch of the N9, interested buyers can pre-order the vehicle for RMB 2,000. The N9's smart driving system is BYD's God's Eye B based on the DiPilot 300 with LiDAR.
With its powerful performance, extensive technology suite, and luxurious interior, the Denza N9 is poised to make a significant impact in the luxury SUV segment. Denza began previewing the N9 in October 2024, and the first production vehicles rolled off the line on February 8.
