Carbon fiber materialization and a naturally ventilated V12 engine collaboration lead to the emergence of the Eccentrica Lamborghini Diablo.
Eccentrica Unveils Exclusive Lamborghini Diablo Restomods
Eccentrica, a small yet specialized restomod firm, has announced the launch of their limited edition Lamborghini Diablo restomod range. The collection, consisting of three models – Titano, Rose Phoenix, and Green Dragon – is a testament to the blending of classic 1990s design with contemporary technologies and high-performance materials.
The flagship of this range, the Titano, is an exposed carbon fiber restomod that boasts a whopping 3,540 new components. This model also features a new rear end, setting it apart from the original Diablo. The Titano is priced at a hefty $1.4m and marks the launch of Eccentrica's Lamborghini Diablo range.
The Diablo restomods retain the original 5.7-liter V12 engine in a naturally aspirated form, tuned to deliver about 542–550 hp and 442 lb-ft torque. This emphasis on balanced performance and driving purity is a nod to the original supercar's character.
Eccentrica's founder, Emanuel Colombini, expressed his admiration for the Diablo, describing it as a 550hp go-kart with unparalleled driving dynamics. Colombini, who grew up dreaming of the Diablo, added a Diablo GT to his collection after testing it.
Alongside the Titano, Eccentrica also offers the Pacchetto Titano, an enhanced version of the restomod. This model features extensive mechanical and aesthetic upgrades, including aerospace-grade materials, carbon-fiber components, upgraded suspension with active dampers, lighter forged wheels, and improved brake cooling.
In addition to the Titano and Pacchetto Titano, Eccentrica creates bespoke custom editions like the "Rose Phoenix" and "Green Dragon" with exclusive finishes and interiors. Each project is designed to be unique, showcasing singularity and artistry.
Lamborghini is currently advancing with the Temerario, but the Diablo restomods offer a swansong for the V12 engine, which is set to be discontinued in 2023. The Diablo, a popular supercar in the 2000s, has been given a new lease of life through Eccentrica's restomodding efforts.
The global premium car auction platform SBX Cars is powered by Eccentrica's website, providing a platform for these exclusive restomods to reach a wider audience. Each Diablo restomod comes with a manual transmission, ensuring an authentic driving experience.
In essence, Eccentrica's role is to conservatively upgrade and transform classic Lamborghini Diablos into highly exclusive, analog-focused restomods that deliver modern track capabilities without losing the character and experience of the original supercar. These restomods offer "infinite emotions per gallon," promising an unforgettable driving experience for their lucky owners.
