Clarkston Consulting has successfully implemented Airtable, a cloud-based data management tool, for a major retail client operating across the U.S. and Canada. The project aimed to improve communication between centralized planning teams and field operators, leading to the creation of a centralized calendar solution.

Initially, Clarkston identified a lack of singular sources of information between the client's centralized planning teams and field operators. To address this, Clarkston selected Airtable for its ability to consolidate information and create user-friendly visualizations.

Clarkston designed and developed Airtable processes tailored to the client's commercial and operations teams. This resulted in a significant improvement in team communication within c-store operations. The highlight of the project was the creation of a centralized calendar that consolidated the schedules of 10 planning teams into a single source of truth. This calendar, built using Airtable data, ensures field operators have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

The Airtable infrastructure serves as a template for further integration and communication across the organization.
