Clearstream & BlackRock Team Up for Private Market Investment Expansion
Clearstream and BlackRock have joined forces to expand access to private market investments. The collaboration will see BlackRock's funds added to Clearstream's platform, granting the asset manager access to sophisticated investors through Clearstream's extensive network.
Clearstream, a post-trade services provider of Deutsche Börse Group, will process BlackRock's funds securely and efficiently at scale through its Fund Services' infrastructure. This addition aims to broaden the distribution of BlackRock's alternative investment solutions.
Moritz Dechow, CEO of Clearstream Fund Centre AG and Head of Fund Distribution for Clearstream Fund Services, expressed that the collaboration with BlackRock facilitates access to private market investments. Clearstream's network includes over 300 distribution partners, many of which are large global wealth managers with a strong presence in Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia-Pacific.
Through this agreement, BlackRock gains access to sophisticated investors via Clearstream's extensive partner network. Clearstream Fund Services' infrastructure ensures secure and efficient processing of BlackRock's funds, expanding the reach of their alternative investment solutions.
