Coinbase and Samsung have teamed up to bring cryptocurrency to over 75 million Galaxy smartphone users in the U.S. This partnership allows users to view their crypto holdings and execute mobile crypto transactions via the Samsung Wallet app.
The integration of Coinbase into Samsung Wallet marks one of the largest crypto-tech integrations to date. It introduces hundreds of millions of new users to crypto, potentially including first-time investors.
Through this partnership, over 75 million Samsung Galaxy users in the U.S. can now buy crypto directly via Samsung Pay on Coinbase. Users can enjoy an exclusive Coinbase One trial, offering zero trading fees and premium features. Additionally, Galaxy users receive a $25 credit on their first Coinbase trade and three months of free Coinbase One membership, including zero trading fees on select assets.
Coinbase One membership offers benefits such as zero trading fees, lost fund protection, boosted staking rewards, and access to the CB1 card. Galaxy users in the U.S. can purchase crypto seamlessly with Samsung Pay inside the Coinbase app.
