Constructor.io Raises $55M for eCommerce Personalization Platform
Constructor.io, a San Francisco-based eCommerce personalization startup, has raised $55 million in a Series A round led by Silversmith Capital Partners. The funding, which brings the company's total funding to $61.5 million, will support product development, hiring, and go-to-market efforts.
Founded in 2015 by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick, Constructor.io offers a search and product discovery platform designed specifically for enterprise eCommerce. The platform leverages natural language processing, machine learning, and collaborative personalization to deliver powerful user experiences and drive conversions.
The Series A round saw participation from a diverse range of investors, including David Fraga, former President of InVision, who joined Constructor's board. Other notable investors include Kevin Weil, former Head of Product at Twitter and Instagram, Jason Finger, founder of Seamless, and Carl Sparks, former CEO of Travelocity. The Cap Table Coalition, which aims to expand opportunities for underrepresented investors, also joined the round.
Constructor.io's latest funding will enable the company to further develop its platform, expand its team, and accelerate its market presence. With its innovative use of technology and strong investor backing, Constructor.io is well-positioned to revolutionize eCommerce search and discovery.
