Cyclomedia Germany Begins 360° Image Capture in Solingen
Cyclomedia Germany GmbH, a member of the Self-Regulation Association of the Information Industry (SRIW), will commence 360-degree panoramic image activities in Solingen from October 13 to November 10, 2023. The company adheres to the Geodata Code of Conduct, ensuring privacy and data protection.
During this period, camera vehicles from Cyclomedia Germany GmbH will capture comprehensive images of Solingen's streets, pedestrian zones, and public facilities. These 360-degree panoramic images will be accompanied by laser scan data, creating precise 3D point clouds of the road space. The captured data will be used internally by the city's administration for various purposes, including public tasks, visualization, measurement, and planning.
The image data collected by Cyclomedia Germany GmbH will support Solingen's administration in managing and improving the city's infrastructure. The company's commitment to data protection ensures that faces and vehicle license plates in the images will be made unrecognizable before use.
