Decentralized AI project Aethir expands its alliance with the addition of Chainlink, aiming to energize the development of next-gen AI technology.
In a significant move, Chainlink, a leading decentralized oracle network, has become an official member of the Aethir AI Unbundled Alliance. This alliance, which aims to develop the base of AI in the decentralized world, now boasts over 20 partners, including Chainlink.
With this partnership, Chainlink's decentralized oracle networks (DONs) can now be utilised by AI developers to create Web3 applications. This integration allows developers to tokenize real-world assets, run AI-based analytics on them, and automate, trustless, inter-woven decision-making.
Chainlink's infrastructure complements Aethir's GPU backbone, enabling compute-intensive AI workloads to execute efficiently. Developers in the alliance can now access compute resources from decentralized GPUs via Aethir cloud.
The Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), a decentralized execution platform supporting AI-based Web3 applications, is at the heart of this collaboration. AI agents can run queries to Large Language Models (LLMs) via CRE, and the results can be checked by the consensus between node operators.
Chainlink provides a unified and scalable system for real-time and tamperproof market data, secure access to APIs, automation, cross-chain interoperability, and a decentralized orchestration layer. This system is instrumental in fetching and checking AI results in a non-trusted manner, allowing developers to scale processes without data loss.
Moreover, Chainlink supports the on-chain transaction value of more than $25 trillion of DeFi and TradFi. As a launchpad for decentralized AI applications within the alliance, Chainlink will play a crucial role in the development of decentralized AI.
In addition to its grants, hacks, and early-stage funding for developers in the alliance, Chainlink also supports automation, cross-chain communication, off-chain data retrieval, and identity and compliance layers. This comprehensive support system ensures a smooth and secure development and deployment of AI applications in Web3.
