Details on Da-Lite's Latest Electric Screen Setup

Da-Lite has introduced a new product to its lineup - the Myriad electric screen system. This innovative system is designed to cater to large meeting spaces, conference centres, lecture halls, and other extensive areas like hotel ballrooms, large classrooms, houses of worship, and hotel ballrooms.

One of the standout features of the Myriad system is the SightLine cable drop system. This unique design integrates a side-drop cable channel that neatly hides power and control cables, reducing wall damage during installation and improving aesthetics and safety.

The modular, scalable design of Myriad allows multiple screens to be networked and operated off a single controller, simplifying complex multi-screen installations. This feature offers flexible configuration for various room sizes and screen placements.

For dealers, Myriad simplifies ordering by offering kits that include all necessary parts and accessories, reducing the complexity and potential errors associated with custom orders. The modular design and clear cable management system also reduce installation time and the need for expensive modifications, making it more efficient and cost-effective to deploy in commercial and residential environments.

The Da-Lite Myriad Reveal screen, a part of this system, features versatile and adjustable brackets for either wall or ceiling mounting. It is offered in sizes from 14-16 feet (4-5m) wide in 16:9 HDTV and 16:10 Wide formats. The SightLine feature on the Myriad screen removes the need to measure and specify drop distance before ordering, and it expedites installations by allowing vertical placement adjustments on the job site.

The SightLine feature on the Myriad screen also suspends the screen surface, eliminating the black border above the projection screen, providing an enhanced aesthetic. The Myriad Reveal screen's bar smoothly rotates to white when retracted, blending into the sleek waterfall case aesthetic.

Myriad's Conceal ceiling-recessed screen design includes ceiling trim to conceal the rough opening, eliminating the need for additional trim work once installed. Tensioned products of Myriad are HD Progressive 16K-ready and have Parallax Ambient Light Rejection screen surfaces.

Wendy Cox, director of product management at Da-Lite, stated that Myriad delivers on customer demand for the expansion of the SightLine feature. The Myriad screen installation has a two-stage option, allowing the screen case to be installed during the rough-in construction stage and the screen surface assembly during the finishing stage.

In summary, Da-Lite's Myriad with the SightLine cable drop feature offers modular multi-screen operation from one controller, neat, side-drop cable management, simplified ordering via comprehensive kits, easier, faster installation with reduced wall damage and visible wiring, and enhanced flexibility and aesthetics in screen deployment. These features help dealers reduce labor, installation complexity, and improve the overall customer experience.
