Dive tool capabilities enhanced for Minimalist Modello Uno by Unimatic, boasting 600 meters of water resistance.

Unimatic, a brand known for its minimalist and industrial dive watches, has unveiled the Modello Uno ProDiver trio - a limited-edition collection of three watches. The collection comprises the U1S-T-PD6-B, U1-PD3-B, and U1-PD3-OR, each offering unique features that cater to different preferences.

Distinctive Features of Each Model

U1S-T-PD6-B

The flagship model, the U1S-T-PD6-B, boasts a sandblasted titanium case, a first for Unimatic's 600m dive watch. With a slimmer profile due to the Sellita SW200-1 movement, this watch provides an impressive 600m water resistance, ensuring durability for professional divers.

The dial features a matte black design with bold, outlined markers, and a date window at 6 o’clock. The bezel is a 120-click unidirectional matte black ceramic, with white Super-LumiNova BGW9 diving scale lighting turquoise. The watch also incorporates a dual-color lume setup, with blue Super-LumiNova on the hour indices/hands, and orange lume on the matte ceramic bezel minutes scale and minute hand.

U1-PD3-B and U1-PD3-OR

The U1-PD3-B and U1-PD3-OR are two stainless steel variants, each offering 300m water resistance. They share the same minimalist and industrial design as the U1S-T-PD6-B, with bold geometric dials, substantial crown guards, and no unnecessary complications.

Both models utilize the Seiko NH35A movement, known for its reliability. They also feature 120-click unidirectional matte ceramic bezels with a fully graduated scale and Super-LumiNova at 5-minute intervals. The lume scheme is designed to enhance underwater legibility, with a mix of blue/turquoise and orange glows across the dial, hands, and bezel markers.

The U1-PD3-OR stands out with its orange dial, offering underwater visibility benefits and a nod to dive watch heritage. Both steel models come with the same black NATO strap as the PD6.

Common Features

All three watches in the Modello Uno ProDiver trio share a dual-color Super-LumiNova system, 120-click unidirectional bezels with ceramic inserts and screw-down crowns with crown guards. They are limited to 300 pieces each and are available now through Unimatic's website.

The U1-PD3-B and U1-PD3-OR weigh around 14.4mm with a sapphire crystal and 13.2mm without, while the U1S-T-PD6-B weighs just 63g (~2.2oz) on the strap. All watches incorporate heavy-duty nylon NATO straps, with the U1S-T-PD6-B being housed in a 41.5mm sandblasted Grade 2 titanium case.

The pricing for the steel models starts at €750 (~$875), while the titanium model commands €1,500 (~$1,750). With their combination of solid technical improvements, durable materials, reliable movements, and Unimatic’s clean, functional aesthetics, these watches cater to both professional use and minimalist style preferences among dive watch collectors.
