Dubai showcase: Kartik Aaryan displays his latest iPhone 17 near the Burj Khalifa
The latest iPhone 16 series, much anticipated by tech enthusiasts worldwide, was officially launched in the UAE today, with the first deliveries taking place in stores across the country on Friday morning.
While no social media post from Ibrahim Ali Khan about his new iPhone 16 was mentioned, it is confirmed that he received the device as a gift. Meanwhile, in a different part of the world, customers in Australia and New Zealand were the first to get their hands on the iPhone 16 Pro before its official release in the USA. The earliest deliveries occurred on September 19, 2025, with the first known customer being Mohit Kalra at an Apple Store in Sydney, Australia.
In a more public display, Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan was spotted in Dubai with a Cosmic Orange iPhone 16 Pro. He shared a photo on Instagram, captioning it, "There is a Khalifa in my phone," followed by an orange heart. The Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall can be seen in the background of the photo.
Interestingly, no photo of Ibrahim Ali Khan with his new iPhone 16 was shared, and no specific information about the colours of his new device was provided. It is known, however, that the iPhone 16 Pro is available in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver.
To secure their iPhone 16, customers formed long queues at Dubai Mall as early as 4am. Apple did not allow direct walk-in purchases for the iPhone 16 line for the first time, with only customers who had pre-ordered the device being allowed into the stores.
As the iPhone 16 series continues to make waves, it's clear that the excitement surrounding this latest release is far from over. Whether it's in the hands of celebrities like Kartik Aaryan or everyday consumers, the iPhone 16 is undoubtedly a hot topic for discussion.
