Ebury finalizes purchase of ArcaPay, forming Ebury Partners Lithuania

In a strategic move to bolster its presence in key markets, fintech specialist Ebury has completed the acquisition of ArcaPay, a Lithuanian-based provider of international payment and currency risk management solutions. Founded in 2011, ArcaPay has built lasting relationships with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the Baltics, serving over 1,000 SME clients and establishing a strong local news presence. This acquisition, a proud milestone for ArcaPay, allows its clients to potentially save, grow, and compete on a global scale, now benefiting from Ebury's global scale, products, and talent. Ebury, known for its expertise in international payments and FX risk management, has recently expanded its operations in Dublin, Stockholm, and entered new countries including South Africa, New Zealand, Chile, and Mexico. This acquisition is an important step in Ebury's strategy to expand in the Baltics, enhancing its efficiency and broadening its global reach. Marius Bausys, Founder of ArcaPay and a professional who most recently held a leadership position at the company 'Bitė Lietuva,' a major telecommunications provider in Lithuania, considers the acquisition a significant achievement. He expressed his pride in joining forces with Ebury, stating that it will bring together the strengths of ArcaPay's local expertise and Ebury's international reach. Kees Veerman, Managing Director of Ebury in Europe, UK, Switzerland, and Canada, views the acquisition as an exciting step for Ebury in Lithuania and across the Baltics. Through the acquisition, Ebury gains an immediate foothold in the Baltics through a strong local sales team and client portfolio. The acquired business will now operate as Ebury Partners Lithuania. ArcaPay clients will continue to receive the same dedicated service they are accustomed to, but with the added advantage of access to Ebury's full suite of international products and services. This strategic move accelerates Ebury's entry into key markets like the Baltics, marking an exciting new chapter for ArcaPay's clients and team.
