The Mauritius Mediathek, located in Wiesbaden, Germany, is not just your average library. This modern facility offers a wide range of services and programs to cater to the diverse needs of its community.
First and foremost, the library provides a convenient way to return books and other items. There is an external return area on Hochstättenstraße, allowing for returns at any time, and a self-return area at the entrance for quick and easy returns during regular hours.

In addition to its services, the Mauritius Mediathek also hosts a variety of cultural and educational events. For example, "Lauschen und genießen" (listening and enjoying) takes place every last Friday of the month from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, providing a small setting for art and culture enthusiasts. The library also organizes "Lernnächte" (learning nights) for students aged 16 and older on selected dates, offering a quiet and supportive environment for studying, complete with brain food snacks and free Wi-Fi.
For the younger crowd, four gaming consoles are available for regular gaming programs for youth outside of opening hours.
