Bangalore, often dubbed the Silicon Valley of India, is a global hub for technology and innovation. With more than a dozen IT parks and a workforce of approximately 4.8 million, the city is the de facto leader of India's IT sector and home to numerous tech giants.

One such company is Tech Mahindra Americas, a global leader in consulting and systems integration. Based in over 90 countries, they focus on next-generation technologies like AI, 5G, IoT, and quantum computing.

Another notable player is Wipro Limited, India's third largest IT company with a workforce of 245,000 employees across 65 countries. Based in Bangalore, Wipro is a major contributor to the city's IT sector.

IBM, an American multinational IT company, also has a significant presence in Bangalore. The city serves as the headquarters for IBM's India operation.

Cisco, a California-based conglomerate, is a major facilitator of information exchange and internet connectivity in Bangalore. Cisco Meraki, a cloud-controlled IT network management division, is also building its presence in the city.

Arrow Electronics, Inc. makes electronic components and has a local team with offices in Bangalore. Toast, a company providing SaaS products and point-of-sale hardware, also has an office in the city where it's hiring for a range of IT roles.

Intuit, a fintech software company, serves over 100 million customers globally and has an office in India. They have been recognised as a 'best company to work for' for fourteen consecutive years.

Lastly, Celonis, a company based in Bangalore, uses process mining and AI to enhance business efficiency. The city's IT sector is expected to double over the next few years, as it expands to $110 billion. With such a vibrant tech ecosystem, Bangalore continues to attract and nurture global tech giants.
