European sales division to be headed by Stéphane Reboud following his promotion at Westcon-Comstor
Westcon-Comstor, a leading technology distributor, has announced the promotion of Stefane Reboud to the position of Senior Vice President, Sales for Europe. Reboud, who joined the company less than a year ago from Dell Technologies, brings over 25 years of experience in the IT industry to his new role.
In his expanded role at Westcon-Comstor, Reboud will spearhead all sales teams across Europe and the distributor's global customer sales teams in the region. He will report to René Klein, the executive vice president for Europe at Westcon-Comstor.
Westcon-Comstor is unifying its European sales function under a single leadership structure, a move aimed at improving the consistency of experience across the partner and vendor ecosystem. The unification also aims to enhance collaboration and market reach.
Reboud's focus in his expanded role will be on active listening and fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment. He is known for his people-first leadership style, which has been instrumental in his success at Dell Technologies.
René Klein commented on Reboud's appointment, stating, "Stefane's deep industry experience and focus on collaboration make him an ideal fit for the role. We are confident that his leadership will drive the success of our European sales function."
Reboud's role at Westcon-Comstor has been focused on driving European sales for the company's Cisco-focused Comstor arm. The dedication to Cisco will be maintained during the unification. In his new role, Reboud will also focus on leveraging Westcon-Comstor's full ecosystem of services and vendor capabilities to drive partner enablement.
Westcon-Comstor is looking to replicate the success of its unified sales leadership in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. The unification is expected to enable closer internal collaboration, leading to more efficient and effective sales operations.
Stefane Reboud expressed enthusiasm about taking on the expanded responsibility, stating, "I am excited about the opportunity to lead the sales function at Westcon-Comstor in Europe. I look forward to working closely with our partners and vendors to drive growth and success in the region."
