TVS Motor Unveils City-Focused Electric Scooter Orbiter and Upgrades Scooty Zest
TVS Motor Company, a leading Indian automobile manufacturer, has recently introduced two new additions to its scooter lineup - the TVS Orbiter and the upgraded TVS Scooty Zest.
The TVS Orbiter, a new electric scooter, aims to be the go-to choice for urban lifestyles, offering comfort, range, and efficiency. Designed for everyday usability, the Orbiter boasts bold styling, smart features, and thoughtful details, making it a practical choice for city commuters.
On the other hand, the TVS Scooty Zest, already a popular choice, has been updated with several new features. Equipped with a reverse assist feature, the Zest proves particularly handy in tight parking spaces. The Zest also offers an upright riding position, soft suspension, a roomy floorboard, and a large 14-inch front wheel for stability.
The Zest's brakes are drum brakes on both ends, which might feel underwhelming compared to rivals offering front disc brakes. However, it has a top speed capped at 68 kmph and gentle acceleration, making it best suited for moderate-paced riding and city commutes.
The Zest features a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth, LED lighting, cruise control, and connected tech. It also offers a real-world range of around 115 km and spacious under-seat storage for two half-face helmets. As for pricing, the TVS Scooty Zest ranges from ₹ 74,476 to 76,239. Meanwhile, the prices for other bikes available from TVS, such as the TVS Sport, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, TVS XL100, TVS Zeppelin R, and TVS Raider, range from ₹ 46,354 to 1.63 Lakhs.
