Expanded Digital Assistance for Social Services in the Sverdlovsk Region Now Available

The Regional Digital Navigator "Social Cluster" has recently unveiled a series of new direct routes for accessing social assistance tailored to various life situations. These routes, which include retirement, loss of a loved one, military service reintegration, job loss, family adoption preparation, and children who have experienced bullying, are designed to provide users with faster, more direct connections to key social assistance services relevant to their specific circumstances.

The new routes are part of a broader digital transformation initiative aimed at making social services more accessible, personalized, and integrated across regions. The enhancements include streamlined digital pathways that reduce the time and complexity involved in obtaining help, ensuring individuals can access the support they need more efficiently during critical life events.

The new routes, along with the existing ones, are available on the same online platform, totalling 29 developed algorithms. Each route contains a step-by-step 'roadmap', expert advice, document templates, guides, checklists, videos, and forms for requesting consultations. These features aim to save people from having to search for scattered information online and provide a clear plan of action for obtaining social assistance.

The Regional Digital Navigator "Social Cluster" portal was developed with the support of the Sverdlovsk region's Ministry of Social Policy. The service has been operational since 2019 and offers a "one-stop shop" format for accessing information about available benefits, payments, and social services. The portal's curator, Ekaterina Kostochka, stated that the service is beneficial for a wide range of people.

To assess the usefulness and effectiveness of the new routes, an online survey is being conducted by the project team. The results of this survey will help refine the navigator to better meet people's expectations.

In a separate development, the multifunctional center "My Documents" recently opened a renovated office in Severouralsk.

The Regional Digital Navigator "Social Cluster" service was reported by the regional information policy department. The new routes are accessible in the special portal section "Universal Routes."
