Foxconn Records Unprecedented June Sales Growth, Fueled by AI and Cloud Technology Surge
July 7, 2025
Taiwanese electronics giant Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., also known as Foxconn, reported a robust sales performance in the first half of 2025, with the company's consolidated sales reaching a new high of NTD 3.44 trillion, up 19.68% from the same period in 2024.
The growth is primarily driven by the strong demand for AI servers, cloud infrastructure, and smart consumer electronics, reflecting the global AI hardware boom. Despite a month-on-month dip in June 2025, the company's sales for the month reached a record NT$540.24 billion, marking a 10.09% year-on-year increase.
Foxconn's cloud and networking division saw a significant year-on-year increase in sales in June 2025 due to the strong global demand for AI applications and cloud services. The company's smart consumer electronics operations also experienced a significant year-on-year sales increase, thanks to international brands' efforts to launch new entertainment devices.
Looking ahead, Foxconn expects the third quarter (Q3) of 2025 to benefit from seasonal demand typical of the information and communications technology sector's peak season, with continued tailwinds from AI-related products and services. However, the company has also noted that global geopolitical tensions and exchange rate fluctuations could moderate the growth momentum somewhat.
Foxconn plans to provide detailed Q3 guidance during its investor conference in mid-August 2025. The company anticipates revenue growth not only from the previous quarter but also from the same quarter in 2024.
In conclusion, Hon Hai Precision is projecting solid sales growth momentum for Q3 2025, fueled by demand in the AI and ICT sectors, despite some short-term challenges. The company's electronic component operations were little affected by June 2025 levels.
Meanwhile, Capgemini plans to acquire WNS for $3.3 billion, aiming to create an Agentic AI-powered Intelligent Operation. Elsewhere, Kalyan Jewellers reports a 31% revenue growth in Q1 FY26.
