Funding for the recently announced playground structure: climbing apparatus

The ITG University Kindergarten, located within the Bergische University Wuppertal, has recently expanded its outdoor play area with the addition of a new climbing frame. This exciting new addition is set to awaken children's sense of adventure and foster community.

Covering an expansive 2,500 square meters, the outdoor area already offers various play opportunities throughout the year. The new climbing frame, funded in part by the kindergarten's own reserves and donations, serves as an addition to the existing play area, providing space for outdoor movement and inviting children to play.

One of the key supporters of this project is Sparda-Bank in Wuppertal. Wioletta Bonny, the Branch Manager of Sparda-Bank in Wuppertal, has been instrumental in securing funding for the climbing frame. The total cost of the climbing frame was 26,000 euros, a significant investment towards enhancing the children's play opportunities.

The ITG University Kindergarten, founded in 1972 by six students, cares for two groups in its daycare center. The new climbing frame is expected to provide a stimulating environment for these young learners, encouraging physical activity and social interaction.

The climbing frame is not just a piece of play equipment; it is a testament to the community's support for the kindergarten. It embodies the spirit of collaboration, with the kindergarten, Sparda-Bank in Wuppertal, and generous donors working together to create a space that fosters growth and learning.

As the children climb, slide, and explore, they will not only be having fun but also developing essential skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and resilience. The new climbing frame at the ITG University Kindergarten is more than just a playground; it's a stepping stone towards a brighter future for these young minds.
