Gathering of 3,800 Digital Entertainment Industry Professionals at 2025 Forum Empowered by Artificial Intelligence Ushering in an AI-Driven Future

In the heart of Hong Kong, the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum 2025 (DELF) took centre stage, concluding successfully on the specified date. With over 3,800 participants in attendance and nearly 280,000 views recorded online, the event was a resounding success.

The theme of this year's DELF was "Adventure Island: Unlock Innovation with The Missing Piece". This theme was exemplified in the numerous events and activities that took place throughout the forum. One of the highlights was the "Elderly e-Sports Tournament and Experience Day", where nearly 300 seniors competed in motion-sensing games developed by a Cyberport community member.

Dr Rocky Cheng, CEO of Cyberport, emphasised the importance of innovative technologies like AI in promoting social inclusion and bridging the digital divide. The event was a testament to this, as it also featured the Hong Kong Regional Competition of the "Flash Ball MR", showcasing the potential of emerging sports technologies.

The forum spotlighted the transformative potential of technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various sectors. This was evident in the industry forums, innovation showcases, captivating performances, interactive workshops, and esports tournaments that took place.

Technology and art merged beautifully in performances such as "A Spectacular Showcase of Drones and Robotics" and the "HKITDA Art-Tech Concert". The China's first AI-generated feature film, "Symphony of the Machine", made its Hong Kong premiere at DELF 2025, further showcasing the potential of AI in digital entertainment.
