Global corporation GCX promotes Luca Simonelli to Senior Vice President of Channel and Global Alliances
GCX Managed Services, a leading provider of managed networking and security solutions, has announced the appointment of Luca Simonelli as its new Senior Vice President for Channel and Global Alliances. This strategic move comes as part of GCX’s growth strategy to expand its global partner ecosystem and strengthen vendor relationships.
Simonelli joins GCX from Cato Networks, where he served as Vice President for the EMEA region. With over 20 years of experience under his belt, he brings deep technical expertise and a passion for building strong partnerships and high-performing teams to GCX.
In his new role, Simonelli will be responsible for expanding GCX’s global partner ecosystem, strengthening relationships with key technology vendors, and engaging telecom operators and service providers that depend on GCX for global connectivity and managed services. He will also lead GCX’s operations in Italy, managing commercial activities and local teams across the country.
The MSP serves brands across the hospitality, retail, FMCG, and manufacturing sectors. GCX’s recent growth has been attributed to global customer acquisition and the successful rollout of next-gen secure networking solutions.
