The Kuban State Medical University and Riviera BioTech are set to make a significant contribution at the upcoming International Forum "BIOPROM: Industry and Technologies for Humans," to be held in Gelendzhik from October 6 to 7. This year, the event, co-organized by Krasnodar Krai, is expected to be one of Russia's leading innovative forums.

For the first time, Riviera BioTech will present its proprietary citric acid, a unique development that has potential applications in medicine, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and other products with antibacterial and wound-healing properties. Notably, this citric acid is not currently produced in Russia.

The forum, which combines exhibitions of innovations in various fields such as biotechnology, medicine and pharmaceuticals, food industry, retail, and HoReCa, aims to showcase technologies for humans. It is organized by the Ministry of Industrial Policy and the Fund for the Development of Industry of the region.

Representatives from the Russian Government, CEOs of major international companies, and scientific institutions are expected to participate in the sessions, as reported by the regional administration's press service. This year, around 10 enterprises of the industrial complex, as well as developers and scientists of the region, will demonstrate their capabilities at the regional exposition.

The main strategic session, "Technologies for Life," will focus on integrating innovations in pharmaceuticals, waste management, and the food industry. Regional producers will present their products in the "BiotechMed" and "Cosmetic Component" tracks.

The forum provides a platform for global and domestic producers and the scientific community to sign agreements on the development of industrial technologies and the creation of new products. Last year, the forum was held for the first time, combining four exhibitions of innovations in various fields.

In a statement, Alexander Ruppel, the regional deputy governor, noted that Krasnodar Krai has become a platform for presenting such global and domestic producers and institutions. The preparations for the forum were discussed at a meeting chaired by Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.

The citric acid development is a unique collaboration between Kuban State Medical University and Riviera BioTech, although the organization involved in its production is not specified in the provided information. This innovative development promises to be a highlight of the upcoming BIOPROM forum in Gelendzhik.

Around 40 sessions are planned as part of the forum's comprehensive business program. With its focus on human-centric technologies and the potential for groundbreaking collaborations, the BIOPROM forum is set to be an exciting event for all involved.
