Google's Gemini Chatbot Boosts Gmail Functionality on iOS
Google has introduced Gemini, a chatbot, into the Gmail app for iOS users. This new feature enhances email functionality and offers interactive search options. It's available through a Google One AI Premium subscription or specific Google Workspace accounts.
Gemini allows users to interact with their emails in a conversational way. They can ask questions like 'How much did the company spend on the last marketing event?' or 'Show me all emails from [Sender]' to quickly find information.
Future updates promise integration with Google Drive. This will enable users to manage their files and documents alongside their emails more efficiently.
Currently, Gemini boosts email functionality by letting users search their inboxes, display unread emails from specific senders, or filter messages by topic. This makes navigating and organising emails easier and faster.
