Hades 2's Keepsakes: 33 Powerful Upgrades for Every Player
Hades 2, the eagerly anticipated sequel, introduces a new layer of strategy with Keepsakes. These relics, totalling 33, offer powerful upgrades and additional boons, making them a crucial part of any player's build.
Keepsakes can be unlocked using Nectar and improved by equipping them and completing encounters during runs. Each Keepsake starts at Level 1 and can be upgraded to Level 2 and 3 by completing 25 and then 50 encounters, respectively.
Early-game Keepsakes like Knuckle Bones from Odysseus or Evil Eye from Nemesis can make Guardian boss fights easier. For those with the Judgement card in their Hades 2 Arcana, Circe's Crystal Figurine is a must. Other notable Keepsakes include Narcissus' Aromatic Phial, which can restore more health and improve a Boon after a close boss fight, and Concave Stone from Echo, which offers a chance to pick a second Boon.
Gorgon Amulet from Athena provides a Boon when out of Death Defiances, while Moon Beam from Selene enhances Hex upgrades when combined with Full Moonglow. Luckier Tooth from Schelemeus provides a Death Defiance, perfect for emergency situations.
With 33 Keepsakes offering excellent improvements, Hades 2 players have a wealth of options to enhance their playstyle. These relics, when strategically used, can significantly boost a player's chances of success in the ever-challenging underworld.
