Hollywood's Tesla Diner Amps Up Cybertruck Experience with Oversized Fries and Electric Charging Stations
Tesla Unveils 24/7 Dining, Supercharging, and Entertainment Venue in Hollywood
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has shared his excitement about a new all-in-one EV charging, dining, and entertainment venue on Twitter. The Tesla Diner & Drive-In Theater, located in LA's Media District, has become a roadside attraction and social media hot spot since its soft launch in July 2025.
The Tesla Diner, priced about the same as other burger joints in the area, offers comfort classics with modern twists. All-day breakfast is available, with egg sandwiches, avocado toast, and cinnamon rolls featured prominently. The menu also includes wagyu beef chili, Tesla burgers, fried chicken and waffles, hot dogs, and hand-spun shakes.
The venue, spanning over 9,300 square feet and two stories, includes an indoor dining area, a rooftop bar, outdoor seating, a gift shop with Tesla merchandise, and two towering LED movie screens. Passersby regularly stop to snap photos of the building, which lights up dramatically at night with retro neon and the glow of Tesla branding.
The Supercharger area, equipped with 80 V4 Supercharger stalls and ultra-fast 325 kW capability for rapid EV charging, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Tesla owners can also order food directly from their cars via the Tesla app and have it delivered. The 45-foot LED screens serve as digital marquees, offering something to watch while charging.
The immersive design of the Tesla Diner includes a portal-like window in the restrooms showing a view of Earth, a direct nod to Tesla's cosmic ambitions. The rooftop lounge offers a panoramic view of the city, making it the perfect spot for a night out.
Elon Musk himself dined at the Tesla Diner & Drive-In Theater last week, echoing the enthusiasm of media outlets, tech enthusiasts, and Tesla superfans who've visited. If the diner turns out well, Musk hinted that Tesla will establish similar venues in major cities around the world and at Supercharger sites on long distance routes.
The Tesla Diner & Drive-In Theater is located at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Orange Drive, between Highland Avenue and La Brea Avenue.
