Homefield KC Partners with NBC Sports Next for Live Sports Streaming
Homefield Kansas City, a massive multi-use sports facility, opened its doors in March 2023. Spanning over 400,000 square feet, it hosts a variety of sports and has already become a hub for athletes and fans alike.
In a strategic move, Homefield has partnered with CBS Sports for a multi-year deal. This collaboration sees SportsEngine Play as the official video and streaming partner, bringing live action from every indoor court directly to fans. With 12 volleyball courts and 10 basketball courts, there's plenty to watch.
Since opening, Homefield has been bustling with activity, hosting at least one tournament every weekend. Bookings are already secured well into the future, with events scheduled until 2026 and 2027. This partnership will allow Homefield to reach a national audience, showcasing its state-of-the-art facilities and competition to a wider audience.
With this partnership, Homefield Kansas City is set to stream over 40,000 live and on-demand games annually, providing unprecedented access to sports action. The use of SportsEngine Motion software will also streamline Homefield's business processes, making it a more efficient and connected venue.
