Honda unveils two electric models: the Honda 0 Saloon and the Space Hub-Saloon, with the latter set for release in 2026 at CES.

The automotive industry is set for a major shakeup with Honda's announcement of the Honda 0 Series, a new global electric vehicle (EV) series. This groundbreaking lineup is set to make its debut in the North American market in 2026.

The Honda 0 Series promises to redefine the driving experience, starting with the flagship concept model, the Saloon. With its low and wide exterior, spacious interior, and sustainable materials, the Saloon offers an unparalleled connection between driver and vehicle.

At the heart of the Honda 0 Series is a new operating system designed for a personalized user experience. This, coupled with advanced electrification and performance technologies, ensures a sporty driving experience that sets it apart from the competition.

Honda's new design philosophy, "The Art of Resonance", is evident in the Honda 0 Series. The vehicles feature e-Axles and high-density batteries, promising highly efficient EVs. The series also adheres to three core principles: Thin, Light, and Wise, reflecting Honda's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Fast-charging capabilities are another highlight of the Honda 0 Series. Models launching in the late-2020s will offer fast-charging from 15% to 80% of battery capacity in just 10-15 minutes. Honda is also targeting to minimize the degradation of battery capacity to less than 10% after 10 years of use for the Honda 0 Series models.

The Honda 0 Series also introduces the Space-Hub, a flexible space designed with the theme of "augmenting people's daily lives". This innovative concept offers a connection between people and the outside world, making it an integral part of the Honda 0 Series.

Honda's commitment to the future of mobility is further underscored by the introduction of a new H mark logo, which will be used exclusively for next-generation EV models. This symbol, representing two outstretched hands, signifies Honda's dedication to expanding the possibilities of mobility and meeting customer needs.

The production of the vehicle based on the Saloon concept is set to begin in China in 2026, as the ID.7 model, which fits this description, is produced there by FAW-Volkswagen. After its North American launch, the Honda 0 Series will be introduced in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America.

The Honda 0 Series was unveiled at CES 2024, alongside another electrified concept model, the Space-Hub. These innovations mark a significant step forward for Honda in its journey towards a sustainable and connected future.
