Honeywell Launches LenelS2 OnGuard Cloud: First Cloud-Based Access Control in the Region

Honeywell has introduced LenelS2 OnGuard Cloud, a pioneering cloud-based access control system for buildings, marking the first such service in the region. This new technology enables remote management of security systems via the iCloud, offering enhanced flexibility and efficiency.

Previously, managing and maintaining OnGuard software and servers required on-site presence. OnGuard Cloud eliminates this need, allowing customers to configure each environment remotely from any connected location. This shift is supported by Phil Daniell of Honeywell, who notes the growing demand for cloud migration in critical IT infrastructure.

LenelS2 OnGuard, the on-premise security management platform, integrates access control, video surveillance, and identity management. While specific details about the three megatrends Honeywell focuses on with this cloud service are not available, it's clear that OnGuard Cloud aligns with broader IT transformation strategies, offering a flexible path for existing OnGuard customers to transition to the iCloud.

Honeywell's LenelS2 OnGuard Cloud brings a new level of convenience and efficiency to building security management in the region. By enabling remote control and eliminating the need for on-site server management, this cloud-based system supports the evolving needs of modern businesses.
