Netflix has just confirmed that Squid Game season 2 amassed 68 million views in its debut week, surpassing the previous record of 50.1 million views held by Wednesday. Unlike Squid Game season 1, which took time to gain momentum with its viral success, this season quickly found its feet. Before this, Squid Game made history by becoming the first Netflix series to debut at the top spot in 92 regions for the platform.
These impressive viewership figures mean that Squid Game season 2 has already secured a spot as the seventh most popular non-English Netflix series of all time.
