Autodoc Strengthens Position in First Half of 2022
Autodoc, the online retailer for automotive spare parts and accessories based in Berlin, has announced a series of significant developments in the first half of the year.
The company expanded its marketplace, launching the Autodoc Marketplace in France in February and extending its B2B offering to customers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. A new warehouse in Belgium was opened in March, followed by another in the first half of the year, named the "Autodoc Logistics Center East."
These expansions have contributed to a robust growth in various key areas. Autodoc reported a 18.5% year-on-year growth in revenue to 889.6 million euros, with the B2B business seeing a 144% increase, generating 64.2 million euros. The adjusted EBITDA grew by 12.5% to 80.9 million euros, and the gross profit increased by 19.3% to 378.1 million euros.
The number of active customers also saw a significant boost, reaching 8.8 million as of June 30, a million more than the previous year. The average order value also increased from 91.1 to 94.4 euros.
Lennart Schmidt, the CFO of Autodoc, stated that these figures position the company to maintain a healthy balance between financial stability and strategic growth. Zadorojnii, the CEO, confirmed the forecast for the full year 2022, assuming the economic and global political situation does not deteriorate further.
In addition to these developments, Autodoc is also rolling out Autodoc Pro, a new service aimed at professional customers. The company is working to strengthen and expand its position in the competitive automotive spare parts market.
With these positive results and plans for further expansion, Autodoc continues to demonstrate its resilience and commitment to growth in the online retail market.
