The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has commenced the registration process for the recruitment of Scientist/Engineer positions in 2025. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply through the ISRO's official website, isro.gov.in, before the deadline of June 16, 2025. The last date to make the payment is extended to June 18, 2025.

The vacancies for these positions are as follows:- Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Electronics): 113- Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Mechanical): 160- Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Computer Science): 44- Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Electronics) - PRL: 2- Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Computer Science) - PRL: 1

The total number of vacancies amounts to 320. The official notification states that all communication with the candidates will be via their registered email ID or the ISRO website, and that candidates should regularly check their email (including spam/junk folders) and the ISRO website for updates.

Successful candidates will be placed at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, receiving a minimum basic pay of Rs 56,100 per month. An application fee of Rs 250 is applicable to all posts, while an initial uniform processing fee of Rs 750 per application must be paid by all candidates. Refunds will be made to exempted candidates (women, SC/ST/PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) in full, and to all other candidates with a deduction of the application fee of Rs 250.

The selection process involves a written test and an interview. The written test will be conducted at 11 venues across India, and candidates will receive their call letters via registered email. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for interviews in a 1:5 ratio, with a minimum of 10 candidates per center. The final selection will be based on a 50:50 weightage of written test and interview marks.
