Power Integrity Workshop with Steve Sandler Coming to Levi's Stadium

Steve Sandler, a globally recognised expert in power integrity and electronics design, is hosting a 2-day hands-on workshop on December 3rd and 4th at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

This in-depth, hands-on course is focused on power integrity fundamentals. Attendees will learn how to design for power integrity, measure it, and troubleshoot it. The workshop aims to improve first-pass design quality, understanding of power integrity, power integrity simulation models, and the performance of high-performance digital and RF circuitry.

The workshop combines lecture and hands-on exercises for real-time learning and expert mentoring. Participants will learn to measure, optimize, and troubleshoot common power integrity issues. The course covers a wide range of topics, including impedance matching, power integrity fundamentals, design, measurement, and troubleshooting, high-fidelity measurement techniques, power supply noise budgets, and the performance of high-performance digital and RF circuitry.

Attendees will have the opportunity to work with various components such as 1-Port, 2-Port, and 2-Port Extended resistors, capacitors (ceramic & tantalum), inductors, impedance adapters, impedance probes, opamps, voltage reference, opamps, voltage regulator/LDO/POL, stability and PSRR measurement tools, Bode plot, non-invasive stability margin (NISM) via output impedance, oscilloscope noise floor, ripple, step load, PDN and flat impedance measurement.

Demonstration examples include troubleshooting power integrity issues, clock jitter/spectrum analysis, noise density, EMI, and troubleshooting with near field probes. The course covers topics such as why clean power matters, setting power supply noise budgets, and measuring various portions of the power distribution network (PDN).

The price for the two-day workshop is $1,500 per person, which includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks. For more information, email Lucy at lucyi@our website! A video overview of a previous workshop at the Levi's Stadium is available.

If you want detailed and official information about this particular workshop—its agenda, learning outcomes, and registration—you would typically find it on the hosting organization's or Steve Sandler's professional or company website closer to the event date.

During the Power Integrity Workshop, Steve Sandler will discuss the significance of technology in power integrity design, measurement, and troubleshooting.Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of technology applications in various components like impedance adapters, probes, and stability measurement tools, as they are taught to optimize power integrity throughout the two-day workshop.
