In a move aimed at broadening access to treasury and foreign exchange solutions, Ebury, a London-based fintech specializing in cross-border financial services, has entered into a strategic alliance with IQ-EQ, a Luxembourg-headquartered provider of investor and corporate services.
Through this integration, clients will be able to access transaction accounts in more than 20 jurisdictions, making cross-border business activity more manageable. Moreover, clients will be able to make international payments in over 130 currencies, further simplifying complex financial transactions.
Aaron Bird, Head of Enterprise & Institutional Solutions APAC at Ebury, stated that IQ-EQ's global footprint and investor services expertise make them an ideal partner. He emphasized that the Ebury-IQ-EQ partnership offers a future-ready solution for international funds and corporates seeking to streamline operations and reduce FX risk.
Joanne McEnteggart, Global Head of Debt, Capital Markets, and Corporate at IQ-EQ, echoed these sentiments, stating that the collaboration brings together Ebury's expertise in international payments, FX risk management, and cash flow solutions with IQ-EQ's unrivaled experience in servicing complex fund and corporate structures.
The integration of Ebury's platform into IQ-EQ's service offering will provide clients with tailored FX risk management strategies to manage market volatility. Local expertise across multiple jurisdictions supports the cash management tools provided by Ebury in the partnership.
According to Aaron Bird, the Ebury-IQ-EQ partnership seeks to address the challenges of accessing transactional accounts, managing liquidity, mitigating FX exposure, and handling international payments that have become increasingly complex due to growing cross-border business activity.
This collaboration aims to offer a comprehensive solution for clients operating across multiple jurisdictions, providing them with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of international finance. The search results do not provide the name of the CEO or the leading manager of Ebury in Switzerland involved in the cooperation with IQ-EQ. Nonetheless, the partnership is poised to revolutionize the way businesses manage their cross-border transactions.
