Lidl's Angel Hair Chocolate Sweeps Nation via TikTok & Stores
Lidl is capitalising on a new social media trend with its Angel Hair chocolate. This indulgent treat combines Belgian ruby chocolate, cotton candy, and creamy pistachio filling. The discount supermarket chain is making it accessible to customers through various channels.
From April 11 at midday, 100 lucky customers can secure a piece of this viral sensation via the TikTok Shop function on Lidl's @lidlde channel. The 60-gram 'Muah' brand Angel Hair chocolate tablet will then hit the shelves in over 3,250 Lidl stores nationwide from April 17, priced at 4.99 euros.
Lidl Plus customers can already enjoy a discounted price of 3.99 euros. This aligns with Lidl's usual pricing strategy, making premium treats affordable for all. Alexander Lafery, Head of Marketing at Lidl Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG, is behind this innovative marketing move, which includes partnerships like UEFA.
The Angel Hair chocolate trend is set to sweep the nation, thanks to Lidl's timely and accessible release. Customers can enjoy this unique combination of flavours at an affordable price, both in-store and via the TikTok Shop function.
