mea Platform has appointed Rachel Watts as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Watts brings extensive operational expertise and leadership experience to the role, having previously served as Global Head of Service Management at XL Catlin and AXA XL. She expressed excitement about joining mea Platform and helping expand its reputation for market-defining client service and delivery.
Watts' appointment comes after a successful career in the re/insurance and financial services sectors. She has over two decades of client implementation experience, having held senior positions at companies such as Pacific Life Re and Markel. At Pacific Life Re, she led transformation initiatives across multiple geographies as Vice President of Global Operations and Head of Actuarial Systems. Prior to this, she shaped IT operations strategy and directed global technology teams and client delivery at Markel.
During her tenure at XL Catlin and AXA XL, Watts was responsible for global operations integration, IT operations, service design, business continuity, and stakeholder engagement. Her operational expertise and strong leadership record are expected to help mea Platform surpass execution expectations and allow more clients to benefit from its AI products.
Rachel Watts was appointed COO at mea Platform in March 2023. With her proven track record in operational leadership and customer service, she is well-positioned to drive mea Platform's growth and expand its reputation for market-defining client service and delivery.
