Microsoft & Adobe Patch 54 CVEs, 17 Critical Vulns in Biggest Patch Tuesday Yet
Microsoft 365 and Adobe have released significant security updates this month, addressing a total of 54 CVEs, including 17 critical vulnerabilities. The patches cover a range of products, including browsers, server software, and creative applications.
Among the patched issues, 16 critical CVEs affect Microsoft 365's browsers or browser-related technologies. Browser vulnerabilities have been advised to be prioritized for workstation type devices. Additionally, out-of-band patches have been released for Microsoft Exchange Server, addressing Oracle Outside In library vulnerabilities.
Adobe's updates include fixes for Acrobat, Reader, Flash, Adobe Connect, and Adobe Experience Manager. Critical vulnerabilities have been found and patched in Acrobat, Reader, and Flash. This month also saw the patching of new speculative execution vulnerabilities and side-channel attacks, ranked as Important and Critical respectively.
With 54 CVEs addressed, including 17 critical ones, this month's Patch Tuesday is substantial.
