Miss Universe Launches Blockchain Voting App for Global Fan Engagement
The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has partnered with Zetrix, a Layer-1 public blockchain, to revolutionize fan engagement. The collaboration will launch the official Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App, set to debut at the 74th Miss Universe competition in November.
Zetrix, known for its blockchain and AI expertise, has developed a secure and transparent voting mechanism for MUO. The app will allow global fans to participate in the voting process for the first time in the pageant's history.
The app extends its secure voting to special categories like 'Beyond the Crown', where contestants share cultural stories and champion social causes. It also serves as a centralized hub for exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes content, and contestant highlights.
To enhance user engagement, the app introduces AI companions modeled after Miss Universe contestants. These companions allow users to interact with the contestants' personalities, values, and advocacies. The app will be available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App, a result of MUO's partnership with Zetrix, aims to unite cultures and amplify voices globally. After successful pilot implementations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong SAR, the app is set to redefine fan engagement in the digital era at the upcoming Miss Universe competition.
