New Freely Box Set to Rival Sky Q and Virgin TV 360

A new TV streaming service, Freely, is set to launch in the UK. The Humax Freely box, priced at £249, will provide access to over 50 streamed TV channels without a monthly subscription. It's a rival to Sky Q and Virgin TV 360 boxes.

The Humax Freely box offers impressive recording capabilities. It can store up to 1,000 hours of shows and films, and record four channels simultaneously. For connectivity, it boasts 4K capability, HDMI 2.1, and USB ports.

Freely intelligently links with each broadcaster's streaming service for easy catch-up. It will deliver channels similar to Freeview and Freesat over the internet. The service includes channels from BBC, ITV, Channel 4, 5, and other broadcasters like U.

The Humax Freely box is now available for purchase on British retail sites, indicating an imminent launch. With its extensive recording capabilities, 4K support, and free access to a wide range of channels, it's set to compete with established streaming services like HBO Max and Dropbox.
